Patricia Gibbons, Staff Writer/Managing Editor
Putting her writing and organizational skills to good use, junior Patricia (Tricia) Gibbons (she/her) is thrilled to be a staff writer and managing editor for The Scituation. With her experience taking Introduction to Journalism and leading the SHS Journalism Club, Gibbons is a strong asset to The Scituation team.
Academically, Gibbons is most interested in English and history, as she enjoys writing. She is a member of the Be Kind Club, Debate Team, and Model United Nations. A talented athlete, Gibbons is a member of the girls' varsity soccer team member and runs both indoor and outdoor track.
Outside of school, Gibbons works in retail at a local North Scituate boutique, Cattivo.
The recipient of a SAIL award, Gibbons, leads by example through her reputation as an honest, organized, curious, and hardworking student.
Looking toward the future, Gibbons plans to continue her writing career in college, potentially becoming a full-time writer. As for this year, she hopes to be inducted into the National Honor Society, increase her community service hours, and build her work experience.
