Claire Timmins, Staff Writer
Claire Timmins (she/her) is a thoughtful and driven member of The Scituation staff. In her senior year, Timmins became interested in journalism when she took Introduction to Journalism. She looks forward to her new role as a staff writer for The Scituation and hopes to cover topics that have never been covered before.
A valued member of the track team, Timmins is a prominent leader in clubs like Allies Not Bystanders and Best Buddies. Timmins enjoyed participating in the French exchange trip during her junior year. Her favorite subjects include English and science.
Outside of school, Timmins works at a local restaurant, The Corner Stop, as a hostess.
Looking to the future, Timmins has plans to attend college and potentially study nursing.
