Alexis Washburn, Photography Editor
Junior Lexi Washburn (she/her) is excited to continue her journalism experience as an assistant photography editor. Described as kind, outgoing, and well-rounded, Washburn hopes to write interesting stories and meet new people this year through her work with The Scituation. With a passion for writing, Washburn enjoys hearing stories and writing articles.
Aside from journalism, Washburn participates in the SHS community through a wide range of extracurriculars. From being a two-time Patriot Ledger all-star varsity tennis captain to being a second-year varsity soccer player, Washburn works very hard in athletics. Additionally, she participates in Student Council and Allies Not Bystanders--two important clubs here at SHS.
This year, Washburn hopes to enjoy all aspects of junior year, including, the ability to maintain good grades. Her favorite classes include AP Environmental Science, and, of course, Advanced Journalism. After high school, Washburn hopes to continue her education and her photography career through journalism. She's clearly a great addition to The Scituation and has a bright future ahead.
