Isabella Burns, Staff Writer
After taking Introduction to Journalism, senior Isabella Burns (she/her) is ready to build her writing skills and report on community issues as a staff writer for The Scituation. With her friendly and hardworking nature, she makes an excellent addition to the staff.
Burns' academic interests include journalism and environmental science. She is a member of the National Honor Society and received an MCAS reward for outstanding achievement. Described by many as welcoming, kind, and dedicated, Burns is known for her academic excellence and well-rounded personality. She is also a valued member of the girls' varsity basketball team.
Outside of school, Burns works at a local family-owned business, Nona’s Homemade Ice Cream, located in Scituate Harbor.
Looking to the future, Burns plans to attend college and earn a degree in public health. She hopes to finish her senior year on a good note while making lasting memories with her friends and classmates.
