Senior Lilyana Sylvester has high ambitions as a staff writer for The Scituation. After taking Introduction to Journalism during her junior year, Sylvester demonstrated a continued interest in the field and is eager to challenge herself as a writer.
Known for her determined, passionate, and hardworking disposition, Sylvester's achievements include serving as student council secretary and her membership in the National Honor Society. Her academic interests include journalism and math--with a particular passion for algebra.
Eager to write for The Scituation, Sylvester will certainly make a wonderful addition to the team. In particular, she looks forward to writing about topics that interest the community. Beyond high school, Sylvester plans to study business in college.
