Leona Breitenstein, Staff Writer
SHS junior Leona Breitenstein (she/her) is ecstatic to join the Scituation team. With her undeniable talent for writing, Breitenstein excelled in her Introduction to Journalism course during her freshman year and continued her involvement with the journalism program through the Journalism Club. Known as a helpful, kind, and friendly student, Breitenstein enjoys writing and looks forward to expanding her skills as a student journalist.
Earning numerous SAIL Awards for her investment and achievements within the school community, Breitenstein plans to spend her junior year focused on achieving excellent grades and developing her passion for English and science.
Outside of the classroom, Breitenstein participates in Model United Nations and the Spanish exchange program, leading her to travel abroad to Spain in April.
Spending much of her free time in dance classes, Breitenstein is a competitive dancer for Zeal Performing Arts Studio in Scituate.
