Grace McNamara, Staff Writer
Grace McNamara (she/her) is a senior member of The Scituation staff. McNamara is thrilled to be a part of the Scituation team this year. She is looking forward to sharing stories with the Scituate community and hopes to encourage many high schoolers to check out the Scituation website weekly.
Known among her peers as a genuine and hardworking student, McNamara plans on bringing her creativity and fundraising experience to help The Scituation. As a stellar student with a passion for English, math, business, and psychology, McNamara hopes to study at a college where she is happy and able to play high level basketball.
McNamara's leadership roles involve her success as both the 2023 class president and captain of the basketball team. McNamara excels outside of the classroom in many ways: she has been distinguished on the Patriot League All-Scholastic Team three times and named a Patriot League All-Star three times. McNamara also participates in the DECA business club to gain valuable experience in business situations. Truly one of the most decorated and appreciated members of The Scituation, McNamara is a welcome addition to the newspaper staff!
