Annika McCanne, Opinion Editor
Committed to giving a voice to her peers, senior Annika McCanne (she/her) joins The Scituation as one of the paper’s opinion editors. A natural-born leader, McCanne is described by her peers as dedicated, passionate, and intelligent.
Bringing impressive leadership experience to the Scituation team, McCanne has worked with Project 351--a youth-focused community service and leadership program--since middle school. Currently a member of the alumni leadership council, McCanne is excited for her 5th year of service.
Excelling in all of her classes, McCanne has earned her place in both the History Honor Society and the National Honor Society. A leader for Allies not Bystanders, McCanne hopes to continue bridging the connection between student concerns and administrative actions. McCanne's dedication to her community, combined with her skills as a writer and editor, make her an outstanding member of the Scituation team.
