Christian Pitten, Staff Writer
New to The Scituation this year, Christian Pitten (he/him) is excited to put his writing skills to use during his senior year. After taking Intro to Journalism during his freshman year, Pitten is looking forward to furthering his interest in journalism and current events.
Pitten is hardworking, driven, and motivated inside and outside of school. He is a devoted year-round basketball player and also enjoys running cross country. Last year, he was inducted into the National Honor Society, demonstrating his strong work ethic and dedication.
This year, Christian is looking forward to writing opinion pieces and improving his interviewing skills. At SHS, Pitten enjoys history and English class, as these subjects promote new insights and perspectives on current events. Entering his final year at SHS, Pitten said applying to college has been foremost in his mind. He hopes to be accepted to a well-respected college and embark on a career in business once he graduates. He may even start his own business someday. Pitten will be a strong-minded addition to The Scituation team, and his passionate writing skills are sure to be put to good use.
