Taylor Belval, Editor-in-Chief

Editor-in-Chief of The Scituation, crazed Boston College fan, laborer at The Mill Wharf, Taylor Belval is constantly busy. She spends most of her time doing homework, working, and participating in numerous sports and activities. During her limited free time, Belval’s favorite activity is going to Boston College football games. This is a huge part of her life; her father went to BC and he has been taking her to games since she was born. Belval loves the atmosphere, and her long-time dream is to attend BC’s Carroll School of Management, which her father attended. After college, Belval would like to go into international marketing. She plans to live in London, Paris, Prague, or Sydney, fulfilling her dream of living in a big city and traveling the world. Other than thinking about the future, Belval works as Editor-in-Chief with goals for the future of the newspaper. Belval said, “I saw that we were in a position that would allow for a lot of change to happen, such as the shift from print to the computer. I wanted to be a part of making it a more positively viewed newspaper and getting people to go online.” Belval has big dreams for the future of both the newspaper and her life, and she is working hard to get there.
