Bailey Gorton, Business Manager
Bailey Gorton is a senior at Scituate High School and is working for the Scituation this year as Business Manager. Although she’s just starting out on the newspaper, she’s eager to contribute and learn more about the art of journalism. Bailey is a member of the SHS Varsity Football and Basketball Cheerleading squads as well as one of the school’s football game flag runners. Bailey has been cheering for ten years and has enjoyed it more and more every year since third grade. She’s very involved in the Scituate community between cheering, coaching, women’s choir, select choir, work and school. Bailey basically only goes home to sleep and eat. When she’s not driving around to her next location or doing homework, Bailey’s typically watching Netflix or reading a John Green book. She also loves travel and has been fortunate enough to cause trouble in states such as Florida, California, Maine, New York and New Hampshire. She has also been on the verge of banishment from countries such as Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany, Croatia, and Slovenia. Bailey loves expressing herself through music, and although her two weeks of flute lessons in the fourth grade failed miserably, she stuck to chorus and has been singing for nine years now. Her music career has taken her on tour through five countries and two trips to Disney World. Bailey is looking forward to her last year at SHS and a wonderful year as a Scituation Staff member!
