Emily Blanchard, Editor in Chief
Emily Blanchard brings her enthusiastic spirit into her senior year as Editor in Chief at the Scituation. Continuing on in her pursuit of journalism, Emily brings her love for politics and past experience to the Scituation this year. When she's not writing for the Scituation Emily can be found at the Village Market checking people out or at her other job, babysitting for an adorable baby. Emily also is a valued member of student government and is an SHS superfan. In her limited free time, Emily can be found at the beach either hang out with friends or playing with her dogs Bogie and Hazel. Emily’s Netflix classics include Shameless and her favorite movies are the Harry Potter series. When spotted at Chipotle, this editor in chief will be caught eating a bowl, not a burrito and always eats pancakes instead of french toast. When she's feeling adventurous, she loves a Starbucks pumpkin spice latte saying,¨pumpkin is my thing." Emily couldn't wait to be apart of journalism for one more year after it became her favorite class last year. Her passion for politics and history reflects in her journalistic style as her ideal articles are features and current event news. Emily can't wait to explore various topics that are relevant throughout the school and write about important issues. Emily's bright and social personality brings a bright light to the Scituation staff, and the journalism staff can't wait to see what Emily's going to write this year.
