Whether you're at a Scituate High School basketball game or scrolling through scituatation.net, senior Trevor Carreira (he/him) is a friendly face you’ll see. Carreira completed Introduction to Journalism during his junior year when he developed a profound passion for writing. He hopes to major in journalism and communication in college, allowing him to pursue his ambitions.

A valued member of the varsity basketball team at SHS, Carreira is also a key member of the ultimate frisbee team. Described as hard-working and dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge, Carreira is a member of the National Honor Society.

Carreira hopes to make his senior year the best possible by making fun memories with his friends at sporting events. As a staff writer for The Scituation, Carreira's goal is to keep his peers and community informed about news and sporting events at SHS. With graduation on the horizon, he plans to make the most of his final year at SHS.
