Ryan Dunn, Staff Writer
Senior Ryan Dunn (he/him) is making his debut in journalism as a first-year staff writer for The Scituation. Eager to make a difference in the Scituate High School community, Dunn hopes to reach a larger audience through diverse articles focusing on various issues.
Described by his peers as friendly, respectful, and outgoing, Dunn is known for his athletic success. A valued member of the boys’ varsity basketball team, Dunn became captain during his junior year. Beyond playing for SHS, Dunn enjoys assisting with various basketball camps and kids’ basketball birthday parties.
Academically, Dunn enjoys history, marketing, and science classes. This year, he is looking forward to taking Sports In Literature, as this English course synthesizes his athletic and academic interests.
Looking toward the future, Dunn plans to major in criminal justice at the college level. He also wants to continue playing basketball by participating in a club team.
As a staff writer for The Scituation, Dunn hopes to increase the popularity of the newspaper by drawing in more readers.
