Jackson Belsan, Staff Writer
With future aspirations for a journalism career, senior Jackson Belsan is excited to start his writing career with The Scituation. Described as outgoing and determined, Belsan received multiple recommendations from his peers and teachers to join the journalism program. He decided to put his interest in writing to work during his final year at SHS and joined The Scituation as a staff writer.
Belsan has always had a knack for English classes throughout his high school experience, specifically enjoying Sports Literature. Enamored by sports stories and articles, he's hoping to combine this interest with his passion for writing.
On the football field, Belsan is the varsity team's quarterback. In addition to football, hockey consumes Belsan’s free time. As a leading forward for the boys' varsity hockey team, Belsan enjoys the excitement of the game and hopes to capture that feeling in his future sports stories. Through his sports career, Belsan has learned the value of supporting his teammates and is excited to carry that support into the Scituation team.
After high school, Belsan plans to attend college, graduate with a journalism degree, and move back to the South Shore.
