Ronan Conroy, Staff Writer

As an SHS senior, Ronan Conroy (he/him) is excited to be a staff writer for The Scituation. Known for his artistic sense of style, Conroy looks forward to offering a nuanced and interesting perspective on music and creating discourse surrounding current influential music.

Outside of class, Conroy continues to pursue his interest in music by playing the guitar or producing music with his friends. He spends time contributing to the SHS Book Club, run by SHS English teacher Paul Scavotto. Conroy said he loves to deep-dive into any book that comes his way.

A well-respected member of the SHS community, many would describe Conroy as attentive and independent, yet incredibly sociable and hilarious. An original member of the SHS boys’ volleyball team, Conroy loves to stay active. This also includes hiking mountains for days and skateboarding with his friends. If he isn’t playing his guitar, he is outside and appreciating nature.

In the future, Conroy plans to attend a four-year college or university and pursue a career in either environmental science, computer science, or music.
