Meet Jane Griffiths (she/her), the one and only junior staff writer for The Scituation during the 2025-26 school year. Beyond excited to join the team, Griffiths was a participant in the SHS Journalism Club during her freshman year and plans to pursue a career in journalism beyond high school. Recognized for her kind and hardworking attitude, Griffiths is a wonderful addition to the staff.

Griffiths stays involved in SHS extracurricular activities by contributing to Model UN, the Women’s Business Association, and Student Council. Currently, she serves as the junior class secretary. She is also a member of the girls’ varsity soccer and lacrosse teams. At the end of her sophomore year, Griffiths received a Sail Award as recognition for her outstanding efforts. 

A dedicated student-athlete, Griffiths is looking forward to the fall soccer season, exploring colleges, and planning the junior prom, which will be held in May.
