Abby Spires, Staff Writer
New to The Scituation staff, senior Abby Spires is enthusiastic about the 2021-2022 school year. Known for her creativity and impressive work ethic, Spires applied to join the staff after being inspired by friends who wrote for The Scituation last year and enjoying AP Language & Composition with Mrs. Hall. She plans to use this year to practice her interviewing skills and cultivating quality responses.
Despite being in her last year of high school, Spires is determined to continue to excel in academics during her senior year. In school, Abby finds herself best suited in English and art classes of any kind. Outside of class, she can be found on the SHS field hockey team, where she plans to make up for the lost time by getting as much time on the field as possible before graduation.
Beyond Scituate High School, Abby aspires to attend a competitive college and travel the world in search of new experiences.
