Olivia Hajzler (she/her) is excited for her leadership role with The Scituation. As a senior editor, she plans to keep the paper organized and running smoothly while continuing a strong collaboration with this year’s Introduction to Journalism students. Hajzler also has a personal goal: to continue improving her writing skills.

Known for her dedication and commitment to academics, Hajzler enjoys challenging herself in AP courses. With a strong interest in science classes, she aspires to manage her coursework in a productive way so she can excel. Hoping to pursue a career in medicine, Hajzler is applying to colleges with a pre-med or nursing track.

Hajzler’s most important extracurricular activities include SHS Gymnastics and the Red Cross Club, where she serves as secretary. When she’s not at school, you can find Hajzler working at Nona’s Homemade Ice Cream in Scituate or Shoe Market Kids in Cohasset.

At the end of her junior year, Hajzler was recognized for her personable and cooperative personality with a Sail Award. In fact, her friendly demeanor and impressive academic skills make her an amazing addition to The Scituation staff.
