Emily Whelan, Print Edition Manager
Emily Whelan is the Print Edition Manager for the Scituation. In her senior year she has taken a very important position of leadership on the staff and hopes to make the print edition better than ever. As a staff writer during her junior year, Whelan enjoyed developing her writing skills. She loves the rich tradition of the print edition and wants to continue its legacy. Whelan hopes to have a fun senior year and learn more about online journalism. When she isn’t helping out The Scituation, Whelan is involved with Best Buddies, Student Council, and the Symphonic Band. Her favorite subject is Spanish because of the great teachers in the Foreign Language Department. Whelan’s favorite TV show is Shark Tank, and she likes the hilarious character Cam (Eric Stonestreet) from Modern Family. When it comes to music, Whelan is a big fan of pop star Taylor Swift. Whelan likes to go to the beach, hang out with her friends, and bake homemade desserts.
