Cara McConaughey, Sports & Wellness Editor
Beginning her second year on the Scituation, McConaughey will be the Sports & Wellness editor. Besides editing articles, she will have a busy senior year as captain of the varsity field hockey team, a winter/spring sprinter on the track team, president of the student council, and a member of the handbook committee. Around town, Cara can been seen serving bagels at Coffee Corner on Saturday mornings and coaching field hockey to young athletes. On the weekends she travels to Providence for club field hockey practice, and although she loves the sport, the best part of practice is definitely coffee and bagels from Whole Foods after. Cara also enjoys going to the beach with her friends, going to yoga classes (although the most inflexible person), eating ice cream, and attending sporting events. Senior year applications for college and a heavy course-load will make for a busy year but she is excited to see what new changes can be made to the paper this year!
