Superstitions
are mounting about the potential end of the world supposedly set for December
21, 2012. Life accomplishments must be met in the next year because of this
imminent threat of the Apocalypse. Thankfully, the Class of 2012 will be able
to experience college life for at least three months, but what about the rest
of the high school population? Here are some ways you can live your life to the
fullest despite the fact your potential last year could be spent within the
bounds of SHS.
- Take a walk around Scituate –
take a couple hours to yourself and you’ll be surprised how much this town
has to offer - Remember that pair of boots or
dress that was over your budget…BUY IT - Go to a Patriots or Bruins game
- Attend a concert at the major
Boston venues (The Pavilion, House of Blues) - Take a road trip with your
friends…anywhere and everywhere beyond the Scituate 500 - Take advantage of your
summer…it could be your last - Leave your mark on Sci Town…
legally - Eat an entire large calzone
from Cosmo’s by yourself - Swim along the beach from Egypt
to Minot or vice versa - Don’t let grades sink just
because the world is ending…the Mayans aren’t always right which means you
could wake up on Dec. 22, 2012 kicking yourself for flunking English
