Known for her bubbly, outgoing, and talkative personality, Valentine McNeilly (she/her) won the Spirit Award for Scituate cheerleading. In addition to energizing SHS sports fans during football and basketball games, Val coaches elementary students and younger children, portraying a strong female role model.

Beyond her aspirations as a cheer captain, Val focuses on academic pursuits: Her passion for studying literature, anatomy, and physiology-- as well as her interest in journalism--will add a unique blend of talent and intellect to The Scituation. Being an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community, she intends to shed light on important and relevant topics, and she hopes to ensure no voice goes unheard. 

Outside of school, Val can be found scooping ice cream at Dribbles and selling clothes at CT Outfitters in North Scituate. After graduation, Val aspires to attend chiropractic school. With her positive personality, great smile, and impressive work ethic, Val has great potential to become very successful in the medical field.
