Known for her strong work ethic and generosity toward others, Tessa Valcourt (she/her) is entering her senior year ready to explore new interests through her academic pursuits and internship class. Joining the Scituation staff this year, she is looking forward to interacting with people from many different backgrounds. In addition, Valcourt strives to uncover underrepresented topics so everyone’s voice is heard.

Valcourt excels academically at SHS. A member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish Honor Society, she enjoys reading and writing, especially in classes such as AP Literature.

As a Student Council officer and dedicated volunteer at the Scituate Senior Center, Valcourt has a significant presence throughout the Scituate community. A committed student athlete, Valcourt is also a respected member of the SHS volleyball team. 

As the year progresses, Valcourt is excited to find her voice through journalism. She is ready to end her high school career on a high note and discover what the future holds.
