Lorraine Jones, Fall, Winter, & Spring Season Sports Manager

Beginning her last year as a Scituate High School student, Lorraine Jones is more than ready to work as a staff writer and sports editor for The Scituation. Jones can be found brushing up on pop culture, watching Chasing Life, or brewing a delicious coffee from Dunkin Donuts. Although she is disappointed that we don’t have the plethora of senior privileges which SHS once boasted, she believes the highlight of senior year will be the all-night party following graduation. As a recurring member of Student Government, Jones likes to stay involved in student matters and participate in track during all three seasons. Jones realizes that college is around the corner, but she is still indecisive about choosing a major. She remains interested in journalism or nursing, especially because she would love to help people with terminal illnesses. No matter which major she chooses, Jones says California would be her ideal state to attend college, especially because she has family out on the West Coast. When asked three words to describe herself, Jones answered, “Fun, talkative, friendly.” In addition to these positive characteristics, she prides herself with obtaining her own style and says, “It’s good to be original.”
