Underclassman award winner Kate McClory (she/her), who is currently a senior at Scituate High School, is excited to write for The Scituation and bring a new and unique perspective to the journalism program. 

With experience taking Introduction to Journalism and a genuine love for English classes, McClory plans to dig into the music side of journalism. In particular, she has a passion for guitar music and other creative forms of expression, especially film. In her free time, she likes hiking.

Known for being exceptionally kind and attentive, McClory looks forward to meeting new people while conducting interviews for The Scituation.

McClory’s goals for her senior year include excelling in all her academic classes. Next year, she plans to study film and English at the college level.
