Ben Mclarey has been called many different names. He’s been referred to as Big Ben, Benny, Benny the Jet Rodriguez, Ben Jamin, and especially Sasquatch. Even seventh grade science teacher Mr. Carrison has been known to only call him Goliath. But there’s more to Mclarey than just cute nicknames about his size. Mclarey has been president of the Class of 2015 since his freshman year and is a member of in numerous student government organizations such as Boys State. In addition, he is a newly inducted member in the National Honor society and recent recipient of the Dartmouth Book Award. Mclarey can also be seen shooting the hoops at the local courts. He has been on the varsity basketball team ever since his freshman and is excited about the upcoming season. But most importantly, Ben is a Momma’s Boy. He can be seen in public openly hugging his mom and exclaiming “I Love You Mom”. Mrs. Mclarey is the only girl in Big Ben’s life.
