Traditionally, fourth grade is a pivotal year when Scituate students interested in participating in the district’s instrumental music program can pick their preferred instrument. On Wednesday, September 13th, fourth-graders were introduced to the program’s benefits when SHS musicians traveled to all four elementary schools: Wampatuck, Jenkins, Hatherly, and Cushing.

An opportunity to reminisce about their elementary school experience, SHS students were as enthusiastic about being seen as role models on their “alma mater” campus as elementary students were about seeing a 30-minute demonstration featuring the musicians playing notable tunes.
