When walking into Not Your Average Joe’s, being greeted with a smiling face is nothing out of the ordinary. This is one aspect of the great service at Not Your Average Joe’s that makes this restaurant a stand out in my book. Every time I have gone there there has been great service and some good eating.

     The menu has many creative options in which to choose from, which is never good for me considering I have the hardest time making a decision. At Joe’s it is very tough because all of the meals sound absolutely delicious. To start off, they offer a variety of drinks. They have the typical fountain sodas and water but they also serve “mocktails”, their name for a non-alcoholic beverage. Each beverage sounds thirst-quenching and very scrumptious.

     Next come the appetizers. Typically I look to save my money and just stick to the bread that they provide for you. This always seems to be the right choice though because I cannot get enough of their bread and dipping sauce. The dip is a simple mixture of oil, grated cheese, and spices but it is absolutely delicious.

     Now for the main course, really it just depends on what you are in the mood for. There are delectable salads offered, great pizzas, hearty sandwiches, or some of “Joe’s favorites.” The pizzas are always a good choice in which they can satisfy your cravings because they range from a “joe schmo” the classic tomato and cheese pizza to the “cranberry-teriyaki butternut squash” pizza. If you are in the mood for a nice burger, you could load it up with the “sweet blue burger” or go light with a turkey or veggie burger. Although, be careful when choosing salad; the caesar salad was found to be pretty dry. It would definitely be a good idea to order some extra dressing on the side for that one.

     Have an allergy? No problem. At Joe’s there is a strong gluten-free menu offered. The chefs and management always take special care of these gluten free customers because their opinion is valued and they want to make sure the food tastes good even if it is gluten free. Many of the items on the menu sound great and they make many strong substitutes for the allergies.

     The service at Joe’s is always great with smiling hostesses and a funny wait staff. Also, at Joe’s they send around a manager while eating to make sure that everything is up to par. The facilities are always kept clean and if it is a nice sunny day out they have outdoor seating which is always a plus.

     Not Your Average Joe’s is always one of my top choices when deciding on a restaurant. The friendly service, fabulous food, and comfortable atmosphere are all reasons of why I keep going back.
