Mary Stevenson, Staff Writer
Returning to The Scituation staff this year, SHS senior Mary Stevenson (she/her) is looking forward to another great year in Honors Journalism. As a managing editor for the Intro to Journalism classes, Stevenson is ready to make an immediate impact. Known among her peers as hardworking, dedicated, and kind, Stevenson is recognized as a strong leader and journalistic writer.
An active member of the SHS community, Stevenson is engaged in numerous extracurricular activities. Currently, she is a member of the SHS golf team and hockey teams. She is also a member of the National Honor Society and the National Spanish Honor Society. Her favorite academic subjects are English and writing, and she has received recognition for her public speaking skills. This year, Stevenson hopes to continue her impressive academic and athletic resume.
After graduation, Stevenson would like to attend an excellent college and eventually pursue a career that she feels passionate about.
