To know who Senior Sean Rezendes truly is, one must first understand what drives him. The ambitious, diligent and enthusiastic Website Manager for The Scituation is fueled by his love for competition -- whether it be in sports or video games. This love of competition can be traced back to first grade when the whole class was given the assignment of decorating their erasers. A competition soon sparked to see who could design the best eraser, and when it came to a vote his eraser emerged victorious.

Sean became a member of The Scituation last year as he had an interest in pursuing a career in journalism. Although his interests have changed, he still enjoys the fun that occurs in Mrs. Hall’s Honors Journalism Class. He is looking forward to going off to college and meeting new people and hopes to keep up good grades in his senior year of high school.

The small-town environment of Scituate in which everyone knows each other and its picturesque beaches are Sean’s favorite parts of his hometown. Rick Grimes, the main character of the popular show The Walking Dead, is someone Sean looks up to. Rick’s ability to overcome the tragedies and hardships of the zombie apocalypse is something he admires.

One of Sean’s most memorable moments occurred during his freshman year of high school. Sean was running for the class presidency and had to give a speech in front of the entire grade. His speech was a little out-there and was like no other speech at the time, but in the end it worked out, and Sean would become class president for two years. When asked what he would be doing 10 years from now, he didn’t know exactly what he would be doing, but he did respond by proclaiming, “In a perfect world, I would be insanely wealthy and not have to do anything, but I’ll probably be doing something.”
