Sarah Siciliano, Staff Writer

As foreign language enthusiast Sarah Siciliano (she/her) enters her unusual senior year at SHS, she is more ready than ever to contribute to The Scituation’s exceptional student publication. Though her journey as a Scituation staff member begins this year, Sarah’s remarkable work has made her a seasoned journalist, with her papers from outside courses finding their way into previous publications.

Although her reputation as a writer precedes her, Sarah also finds herself equipped with an understanding and empathetic disposition, which she’s certain to use to elevate her writing. Sarah’s ambitious mentality, particularly in her journalism this year, solidifies her role as a strong addition to the newspaper’s writing staff. In her final year at SHS, Sarah plans to search for hard-hitting topics that go beyond the Scituate community and explore the ever-changing world she will soon encounter as a young adult.

When not winning awards for the National Latin Exam and Appreciation of Roman History, one might find Sarah divulging into the world of music and film, where she spends the vast majority of her spare time. Though she embraces these extracurriculars with pleasure, Sarah’s true passion lies in the field of International Relations, where she plans to put her multi-lingual tongue to the test across the globe.

Though her future remains undefined, Sarah is determined that her plans to see all she can of the world will not be off-tracked. Even with an unclear future, one thing is certain: This year’s publication will most definitely not be the last we hear from Sarah Siciliano.
