Senior Katherine Black is one of the newest additions to this year's Scituation staff. Katherine’s love for current events and social studies allows her to successfully be this year’s News Editor. Katherine has lived in Scituate her whole life and looks forward to finishing her time here on a positive note. Over the summer, Katherine split her time between hanging out with friends and working. This summer, she nannied four days a week for two different families. In addition, she tutored once a week in math, Spanish, and history. Her favorite moments, though, were those spent at the Spit on the weekends when she and her friends would take a boat to the remote beach. Katherine is looking forward to applying to college and finding out about where she will spend the next four years of her life. But for the time being, she is an avid member of the SHS community, participating in ADL, Peer Mentors, National Honors Society, and Model UN. Furthermore, Katherine can’t wait to visit Spain in the spring and begin to travel, hoping to continue to do so in the future.
