George Malouf , Photo Editor
Meet first year Scituation member, George Malouf. George is taking on his senior year and putting his photography skills to work as Photo Editor for The Scituation. Every weekend you can find George adventuring with his friends, snapping some candids and posting them to his Flickr page (which you should most definitely check out) . You may recognize this face as a drama club regular, participating in every SHS production since his freshman year, and playing the lead role in last years musical, All Shook Up. Outside of SHS you can visit Malouf at the Driftway Dunkin Donuts; he makes a mean plain bagel. In the future, George hopes to get out of Dunkin Donuts and move on to bigger and better things in New York. He lives for the everyday hustle and bustle, which probably came from crowds in SHS hallways. Malouf actually needs to be in crowded areas since he apparently cannot make a fire on his own and advises never getting lost with him. Being in drama has sparked George’s interest in the Arts and Entertainment side of The Scituation, which he will help tackle this year. He looks forward to the grand opening of the new auditorium and all the improvements it will bring to the drama club. George's musical inspiration is the wonderful Childish Gambino. Take a look at his playlist and you’ll see the obsession for yourself. He also has given up his phone storage to download Gambino’s app, which has no function other than selling concert tickets for a single venue in California. George takes after his favorite supporting character, Kenneth the Page from 30 Rock. They share a certain sense of reliability and purity that anyone would value. Keep an eye out for this friendly face in the crowds this year and one day tearing it up in Manhattan.
