Amanda Mendes, Sports & Wellness Editor
Excited, nervous, and ambitious about her senior year, Amanda Mendes is ready to take this year by storm. When not in the Scituation Room, you should see her buzzing around the halls this year with Student Council, Student Government, or around town supporting her fellow classmates at sports games. After working most of the summer at the Scituate Recreation Department, babysitting for numerous families, spending countless of days by the beach and making sure to hit all her favorite artists’ concerts, Amanda is ready to work hard throughout the year and make sure this year is her best one yet. After spending three years at Scituate High, she is ready to go through the whole college process and anxious to find out where she will be embarking on the next chapter in her life, but before she heads off, she is hopeful to learn a lot in her classes, spend time with her friends and make this year a memorable one. In her future, Amanda hopes one day that she can travel the world before settling down and become a elementary school teacher, and fulfill her passion of working with children. But for now Amanda is ready to bring her own ideas and talents as the Sports and Wellness Editor and along side the Scituation team to make this years newspapers the best ones yet!
