Junior Erin Logan joins The Scituation team with a lot to offer. Known for being well-rounded, Logan's experiences in many different walks of life are matched with her kindness toward helping others. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Logan is a triplet, and she hasn’t wasted any time getting involved in the local community. She is a Best Buddies officer and has been involved with the program for years. In addition to Best Buddies, Logan was chosen to participate in Project 351, a service group dedicated to unifying the 351 towns and cities in Massachusetts through serving the community. In her free time, Logan can be found on the field for the talented Scituate girls varsity field hockey team, as well as on the track, participating in both winter and spring track. Logan's favorite subjects in school are English and history. She thinks her passion for these subjects will help her to become a successful member of The Scituation team. She hopes to write stories that are interesting, but she also wants to write stories that benefit the community. Logan spends a couple nights a week working hard at the busy Satuit Tavern as a busser. Working under that kind of pressure will no doubt have Logan well prepared for future occupations. After finishing her high school career strong, Logan hopes to follow her dream of being a special education teacher, as she already knows sign language quite well. Logan also gained experience taking Introduction to Public Speaking, making her very qualified to be a student reporter for The Scituation in the years to come.
