The Scituate High School boys varsity basketball team broke Whitman-Hanson’s 35-game winning streak last night, December 14th. Whitman-Hanson’s boy’s basketball team–until last night–had not lost a game since December 26th, 2019. The Sailors defeated the Panthers 59-53, with points led by seniors Keegan Sullivan (15 points and 7 assists) and  Sam Benning, who finished with 16 points and 8 rebounds. The team had an incredible defensive effort throughout the game, holding the Panthers to only 8 points in the third quarter.

The Sailors season record extends to 2-0, with their next game being held at home this Friday, December 17th, at 6:30 p.m.
