Everyone thinks that all artists want to always be in the spotlight. With fame come the paparazzi and extremely devoted fans wanting to know every little detail about an artist’s life. Lady Gaga broke out in late 2008 and has been under the radar the last couple of months. Gaga hit the scene with her debut album The Fame with the single” Just Dance.” After her first single, Lady Gaga became a star with a huge following, who call themselves the “little monsters”, while Lady Gaga is known as Mother Monster. Now selling out Madison Square Garden in New York in a matter of 7 seconds, mother monster’s following keeps growing, but lately Lady Gaga hasn’t been in the tabloids wearing any obscure outfit or releasing a new single.

Since coming onto the scene Lady Gaga has won 5 Grammy Awards, and 16 Billboard Year-end Chart Awards. With huge success since Lady Gaga’s first album, and her continuing fame with her latest hit single and album Born This Way where has Lady Gaga been? At the end of April 2012, Gaga kicked off her The Born This Way Ball in South Korea. The world tour consisted of 110 shows all over the globe, until February 12, 2013, Gaga called off the rest of the tour. Due to a tear of her right hip, mother monster could not continue with the pain and decided to go through surgery. “It’s terrible that she tore her hip, but I can’t wait for her to tour in Massachusetts again.” Junior, Victoria Johnson said. Like most successful artists in the music business, money comes along with the fame. Being the star Lady Gaga is what better way to turn an injury into a new trend with her new 24k gold wheelchair. According to The Daily Beast, the chair was designed by Ken Borochov, of Mordekai Jewelry, completed the throne in only a week. Gaga took to twitter to announce that she has named her new throne Emma. Continuing to improve everyday Gaga is ready to take her next step in the music business.

Lady Gaga is always one to please her little monsters, and is continuing to make music. Since releasing Born This Way, mother monster has been extremely busy dealing with her recent tours and injuries, but Gaga isn’t going anywhere. It has been announced that in late 2013 Lady Gaga will be releasing her new album ARTPOP. “I’m intrigued to see how she develops her musical style in her next album,” senior Brigitte Pare said. During a show on the Born This Way Ball, Gaga revealed that the inspiration for the new album is “possibilities.” It not known what exact songs will be put on the fourth album, but it’s rumored that artists such as, Kendrick Lamar, Azealia Banks, and Beyonce may be featured in a few songs. Lady Gaga continues to work with well-known producers and artists, the new album ARTPOP is sure to be a chart topper.

Although Lady Gaga hasn’t been talked about as much lately, Mother Monster is still working to please her little monsters. Expecting an album to come out in late 2013, we’re hoping for a single to be released in the next coming months perhaps followed by another world tour. For the time being, Lady Gaga is continuing to roll around in her 24k gold wheelchair to repair her hip. Lady Gaga may not be in the tabloids or news as of now, but once ARTPOP hits the shelves, mother monster may be looking forward to more award shows to attend, and extraordinary outfits to go along.
